HARRISBURG - Rep. Robert Leadbeter (R-Columbia) is excited to announce that he was assigned to the House Insurance Committee for the 2023-24 Legislative Session.

“I look forward to bringing my knowledge and experience as a small business owner to the House Insurance Committee,” said Leadbeter. “I understand that Pennsylvanians are feeling the impact of inflation and as a member of the House Insurance Committee I will fight for affordability and stability in all insurance-related matters.”

“I welcome Rep. Leadbeter to the committee and look forward to working with him on insurance issues, which affect every state resident at some point in their lives,” said Republican Committee Chair Tina Pickett (R-Bradford/Wyoming). “The committee focuses on availability and affordability of all insurance-related products. Compared to many states, Pennsylvania has a stable insurance market, and the committee strives to keep companies serving the Commonwealth viable and responsive.”

Prior to being elected as a representative, Leadbeter was a small business owner and a sales executive for a major national company.

The Pennsylvania State House of Representatives is next in session April 24, when it will begin voting on bills in committee and the House floor.
